Frequently asked questions

Does Mushimush actually defend against blue light?

Yes — our formulas are built specifically to help defend skin against the effects of prolonged screen exposure. This is our core focus, not an add-on claim.

Does the Day cream replace my sunscreen?

No. Mushimush isn't a sunscreen. Glass and Matte Finish Day Cream both are made to layer underneath your SPF and makeup — not instead of them.

Will it work with my makeup?

Yes, with any makeup you already wear. Mushimush isn't a hybrid product that locks you into a specific shade or finish — it works underneath whatever you already use.

What's the difference between Glass Finish and Matte Finish — do I need both?

Same formula, same actives, different finish. Glossy or matte is just a preference, not a skin-type difference — pick whichever finish you'd rather wear. You don't need both.

I have sensitive skin — is this safe for me?

Genuinely, yes — not just a safe default answer. Niacinamide is one of the most well-tolerated actives in skincare: it doesn't disrupt your skin's natural pH and doesn't increase sun sensitivity. The retinol in Overnight Repair Cream is kept deliberately low, so skin adapts gradually instead of reacting to a jump in strength. We'd still recommend a patch test before your first full use — standard practice for any new active, sensitive skin or not.
